	My name is Joni Williams. I am co-owner of Straight Up Realty. Leanne and I started our own company because we both believe in being honest and "straight up" with clients. One change has been my own life. After being a dispensing optician for over 25 years I transitioned into the life of real estate in 1999. I have always worked with people and loved houses and walking land. I've seen old houses and homeplaces torn down while entire new suddivisons have been built. So many of the properties that were once farms now have numerous homes on them. There is also more commercial business in the area. The thing I love the most about real estate are the people I meet. I enjoy meeting people from all walks of life and from all over. I enjoy being around all ages. The older I get I realize that my mother was right in that life is all about change. The one thing that seems to remain constant in Pittsboro is the quality of people that are attracted here. You can still walk downtown or into the post office or grocery store and it's ok to say hi to anyone you see and they will definitely say hello back. It's part of our Southern Hospitality! Lisa joined our office on September 4th 2007 having moved to Pitttsboro from Climax where her parents, and brother and sister still live. Lisa has more patience than any person you will ever meet.
